SCOPE

Applies to all stages of cultivating any cannabis plant, regardless of regulatory classification, for the purposes of growing and harvesting the flowering (or fruiting) tops. This includes seed farming (breeders), tissue culture, cuttings (clones) and other forms of propagation, growing of cannabis plants, harvesting of cannabis plants, drying and curing of cannabinoid-containing herbal materials, and packing of various denominations of cannabinoid-containing herbal materials.

NOTE

Pre-harvest activities are considered AGRICULTURAL and conform to cGACP requirements. Harvest and post-harvest activities are considered MANUFACTURING and conform to cGMP requirements. For outdoor licensed operations, harvest activities are considered AGRICULTURAL and conform to cGACP requirements up until the crop leaves the field.

For cannabinoid-containing herbal materials to be used as a dietary supplement or an ingredient in a dietary supplement requires conformance to the dietary supplement addendum.

This DOES NOT include the production, processing, or manufacture of cannabinoid-containing substances or cannabinoid-containing products, other than cannabinoid-containing herbal materials themselves.
